I would like to commend the work and efforts of your organization on behalf of Tucorp, Inc. over the course of the last six months, particularly the efforts of Senior Consultant, Chuck Riney and Group Manager, Bill Williams.
With the help of American Management Services, Inc., we have put in place key tools and processes to increase our level of profitability, team performance, and the accountability of our employees.
Some of the key items we have implemented include:
- Recruited staff to open three closed salons and added 24 total skilled stylists to our depleted workforce.
- Recruited an experienced General Manager and acclimated her to the management techniques required of profitable daily operations.
- Implemented Key Performance Indicators across all locations to measure Volume, Average Ticket, Product Sales and Productivity.
- Introduced Scheduling processes to ensure a Productivity of 2.0 Cuts/Paid Hour.
- Introduced Quality and Customer Satisfaction Metrics to retain valued customers and monitor stylist performance.
- Introduced Purchasing and Inventory controls to limit costs and improve turns.
Implemented an Operating Budget that assigned Volume, Average Ticket, Product Sales and Employee Productivity to each store location, and included the Tucorp PDP Expense. - Implemented a pay-for-performance plan related to the PDP profit plan to motivate our employees to strive for both financial and operational successes.
We expect the work described above to produce an incremental operating profit to our company of more than $5,327,480.00 over the next three years, an amount that far exceeds the cost of the program.
